  1. I've never tested my pitching speed, it 14, and only like 10% of my pitches are fastballs anyway, and my ERA proves that ball placement is a lot more important than speed.

  2. i was just pitching for no reason and then i saw that i clocked 63 mph on the radar gun, and im only 12. then my fastball only topped out at 56 ;-;

  3. I'm paralyzed and one second old and can throw 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 miles per millisecond. And did I mention I'm a caterpillar???

  4. Greg Maddux is proof you don't have to throw hard to be a great pitcher. 96+ fastball is nice but without a couple other pitches to help out then you won't go anywhere

  5. The video shows motions of harm which are lifelong creating disability to all people/ agricultural standings using these professional pitching coach impostor teachings being wholly against the safety protections of the United States Federal Trade Commission as Harvard, under auspices of M.L.B./USA, M.L.B.P.A. /USA & YouTube and United States Surgeon General all now collude to break FTC Codes, US CODES.

  6. Hmm….. a 2 seam faceball is basically a screwball. it's the opposite as a slider with a little more speed and a little less bite.

  8. At 2:07+ you speak of Mike Scott, Mike Scott was a later half till the end of the 80's pitcher, not 70's and early 80's, just to correct you. His best years were 87,88,89.

  9. Looks like you had to take a massive dump this entire video..
    Towards the end it became prominent not only to myself but also my fellow you tubers that there was in fact a turtle head poking out and was 2cm away from touching cotton..
    Great control you showed here.

    With that being said Great video sir

  10. You give Mike Scott credit for "mastering' the Split Finger fastball, but give no mention to Hall of Fame reliever Bruce Sutter who won the 1979 NL Cy Young award based on the SFFB. 1979 was Scott's first year in the majors. While Scott was a master … Sutter blazed the trail.

  11. I reviewed a dozen + comments. It’s so much fun to just break out laughing. Nothing better than clean cynicism. “…I’m a fetus, and I throw 80 mph….” BEAUTIFUL! and yes, the guy does talk like he has a gun at his head.

  12. Only thing that would have made this video better is if they had a clip of the pitch being thrown after talking about it so we could see it in action.

  13. I don’t play on a baseball team. But I can play whiffle ball and do certain grips: Splitter, Forkball, 4 Seam fastball, Circle Change, Curveball, Slider and a Knuckleball.

  14. There’s literally no such thing as tipping off batters during your release. As long as your arm slot isn’t obviously different from other pitches then yes. But if you’re deadening your leg to throw a change up, then there’s not a way for the batter to know because of the speed of the delivery, plus they’re focused on hitting the ball.

  16. Control and break will master your velocity learn control, break, then speed I can care less about throwing 97-104 mph fastball if your gonna be walking and hitting batters all day I rather throw 86-60 and have control over the whole plate and a combination with my off speed.

  17. This guy is not explaining how to throw the pitches though. For 2 seam and changeup, you are supposed to turn your throwing hand inwards.
