A Life Lesson from Cricket by Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai

Just imagine that
you have a competitor. Who wishes that you don’t
succeed at any cost. He has an entire team. And he purposefully comes out in public,
right in front of you and acts against you. How would you feel? But a cricketer does not. One batsman walks in the
midst of 11 opponents, Who just do not want him to win. In public, and above that,
they operate with teamwork. The opponents are stationed
right in front of you, And during the last ball,
if you look at the opponents, You wonder, ‘Where is the ground to play?’ And still he plays!
He enjoys! Whole day! In spite of 11 opponents! And if any of the 11 opponents win, Another 1000 opponents rise
from the stands. You don’t even know that there
are another 1000 on their side. The way the entire stadium stood up
when the ball was caught; You felt nobody is with you. Imagine so many opponents! See, you have to learn
something from cricket too. If anyone looks at you with a critical eye, You feel so uncomfortable. If someone just laughs sarcastically,
you feel like going to the room and crying. You don’t like it even for 2 minutes. Just imagine what a fantastic
seeker a cricketer must be! Don’t get irritated when there are
1 or 2 critics around you. In mid-afternoon at 2:30 or 3,
if a six is hit, He can jump up 2.5 feet. Doesn’t he get tired? How much you work does not matter. With what spirit you work matters.
