  1. just the average day, huh? Oh boy…. one of these days we should just start sailing right behind you guys 😀 Seems we always get held up in more research and conservation work 😀

  2. Alex Blue, you really did an amazing job of the editing on this one! Gorgeous scenery and filming too. J&J

  3. I always love these relaxing sail videos but I know there is likely a ton of boat work going on behind the scenes that doesn't necessarily make the best footage. I wonder, how often are you cleaning the decks, railings and rigging? Seems like there would a quick salty buildup if not done on the regular?

  4. quick question, why doesn't Delos have a windvane? Brian is always thinkering new ways to be more efficient , and you guys do some major crossings. Is Delos to heavy for a windvane or is it lack of space as you guys are usually fully crewed?

  5. A beautiful day captured on film. Thanks for the quiet. I imagine knowing when to stop talking is important on such a small space.

  6. Have you guys considered doing a compilation documentary of your journey so far and selling it to Netflix, Hulu, and NatGeo? Y’all are getting some amazing footage and I am sure they would be interested! Thanks again for another great video!

  7. You know I look back or even think back of the earlier videos and I look at Brian today and I say to myself this lifestyle is very good for Brian he has not aged very much at all

  8. My favourite thing about sailing is those calm lazy days with a little wind just kissing your sail pulling you along. Speed boaters ask if you get bored and you sip your drink knowing they just don't get it. Maybe it's just a me thing.

  9. Wow, this video is amazing, period. This is like one of those moments where you know the stars have aligned on your editing skills. I have always loved the content produced on Delos, keep it coming! Like it? I like it a lot!!

  10. Sailing lesson cool. When are you going to get rid of those two somewhat new crew members? I really enjoyed your first three seasons. I remember in one episode where y'all said this show won't change anything thing up nor feel. It's lost its family feel! Go back and watch those first two or three seasons. Anyway I'm starting to loose interest. Pick up the family feel back up! I have hope you guys can turn it around

  11. Totally awesome video. Sunday morning — leisurely breakfast in my kitchen / Port Lincoln South Australia / Watching you guys doing it awesomely . Thank you so much. Amazing dive footage — Amazing everything. I should really row out to my mooring and check my boat. Haha. Thanks again,.

  12. 10:08 that black and white fish was gorgeous, these Caribbean reefs are very bright also. Hope u guys stock up from herbs 🌿 from st. Vincent they have great agronomy 🤙🏼.

  14. Hey I forgot congratulations Brian, and Karyn hope y'all have a long fruitful marriage y'all make a wonderful couple we really enjoy watching your adventures here in Alabama and Brady is awesome me and my brother love watching y'all you remind us of our relationship lol

  15. I envy you guys each day is a little worse for me living in this capitalist rat race and so on any given day it is essentially the worst day of my life… "i will change its direction but i have to save just a little more money first" quote from me in 2010…side note i haven't really been able to save anything yet but one day i will defeat myself and just take off.

  16. Amazing video as always! Are you all ready for this new adventure?!? Cannot wait to watch this next part of the DELOS JOURNEY!💯🔥💯🔥💯💗💗💗

  17. What happened with the diving mask with radio communication?
Still waiting for a dive included with “That’s one small step for a man” (Neal Armstrong).
With that diving mask you could do it again.

  18. Personalities and places abound and you guys do it pretty well. But
The shots of the abundant underwater life and the art of sailing are the most unique and informative aspects of your show.
And reading the comments I see others agree. Personally I like the history lessons best.

  19. guys, you shoul be killing all the lion fishe you find…. they are killing the juveniles and coral

  20. Hi delos. Iv binged watched your videos and I love em. I would love the opportunity to join the crew of delos. H

Please contact me.im 35 yrs old and I yearn for adventure with delos

  21. Guys, I love your videos! We’re buying a larger vessel to hopefully meet you out there someday. I’m curious, we’re divers too and are wondering how you get your rigs onboard with no stern platform? Are you climbing the boarding ladder midship with your rig on or hoisting them aboard before climbing the ladder?

  22. Alex Blue, outstanding editing job. Your voice is absolutely hypnotic. That is some camera to pick up the stars so clearly. Your videos uplift so many lives. You have no idea how positive a difference you all make in so many lives.  Be safe and fair winds.

  23. Another great video. Thanks. Those were some big bats in that cave. What are those creatures that fan out of those tubes and then shoot back inside the tube when they seem frightened?

  24. Hey guys, I admire what you are doing and wish I was young enough to participate for a while. However, the best I can do for you right now is to give you some good financial advice. The financial world is changing in many ways this year. 209 countries came together and agreed to back their currencies with gold or other commodity equivalents. No more rate change games. The Federal Reserve dollar is being replaced with the US Treasury note. The Federal Reserve Bank will be absorbed by the Treasury Department. The Global Currency Reset is in progress right now. There is a financial crash scheduled to happen during the next 90 days. Inflation will happen, which means the value of the dollars you hold right now will be worth less. This will be a period of great uncertainty. The banks of some countries might not want to take your dollars, or give you a very low exchange rate. The solution for your survival is to get your hands on small denomination gold and lots of silver coins. Most, if not all, banks everywhere know what the spot price of gold and silver are. You should be able to exchange your metal for local currency everywhere. You will also find that the value of your gold and silver goes up in value over time. Some gurus are predicting $10,000.- an ounce for gold and $600.- for an ounce of silver over the next few years. To continue your present lifestyle you need to prepare for what's coming. When the financial crash happens it could be that some of your patrons can't afford to keep up their monetary support. Millions of people will be struggling. This should all settle down by the next election. In the meantime, the next year and a half is going to be really hard for many. More news: Last April the IRS was told to shut down. A 23% value Added Tax (VAT) will start on 1 January, 2020. This is for the purchase of new items only with food excluded. This will be officially announced on 1 August of this year. So if you are going to buy a brand new Amel50, do it this year.

  25. Just recently re-watched some of your uploads from season 1. it’s unbelievable how much your movies have improved. Story, cut, quality, funfactor. Everything. Wow!

  26. This is the best youtube sailing channel, the number of subscribers is criminally low. Great video as always Delos crew.

  27. Amazing episode, we love the SCUBA adventures! Was looking for some sailing music to get through work today, noticed that Midnight Java by Lime "Juice" was difficult to find. Midnight Java by Lime "Sauce" was much easier though.

    THANKS AGAIN!

  28. This episode makes me want to dig up one of your slow tv passage videos and put it up on a big screen and enjoy the tranquility of a sailing.

  29. Always a treat to have you guys diving while I take the first coffe at work. Thx for making my day.

  30. I see Delos is selling long sleeve shirts for 40.00 and funds For the Delos Project . Wondering what is Delos project and they already get $ 23,000 a week per video. What do they need all this funding for ? Just curious with no mean intent.

  31. You guys inspire so many people to want to sail! It helps us give people that experience!

  32. I'm curious if they have ever run into real life pirates. So cool in that cave!! Thank you so much for these videos. Amazing. Very relaxing. Great filming. Love the choice of music to. Your sailing videos are the only ones that calm me and bring peace to my soul. I dont know why that is. Stay safe!

  35. St Lucia.. one of my favorite places on earth… Such good people there!! Enjoy……. Cheers Delos..

  36. Brian, I'm surprised your autopilot doesn't handle Delos that well upwind. Mind you my sailboat is smaller but my autopilot does better upwind than downwind (tends to 'walk' a lot downwind under sail). I think the reason is because upwind, there's fairly stead pressure in the sails and good water flow over the keel and rudder. Is there a rudder dampening setting you can adjust?
Oh, and I liked how 'quiet' this episode was and how you guys/gals kept commenting how quiet the anchorage was at that location. I love those moments here in Southeast Alaska when it's so quiet, the only noise I hear at anchor are the eagles and ravens in the trees and the ocean lapping on the shore. So much quiescence! And the dive looked epic! Now, you can say you've been 'to the Bat Cave'! Cheers and safe sailing from Juneau, Alaska…

  37. This is such a beautiful episode! Just so many gorgeous long slow shots with fantastic cinematography and composition. The editing was superb and I loved the music selection. It didn't hurt that your subject matter was so incredible. That was one of the best dives I've ever seen, you guys did an incredible job capturing it. You really deserve a Webby award for this one. 💙 Thank you for continuing to put out such incredible content. I can't tell you how much I enjoy watching your videos.

  38. Blue is the best at knowing exactly when to use slow motion for effect without being overboard. Also loved the sailing lesson.

  39. You guys are amazing I’m at home feeling sick and life sucks… watching this and realize I am smiling through the entire episode 😊 Keep up the good work!
