Welcome to Tuesday’s Tips from SewVeryEasy,
my name is Laura. And today the tip is more of a thought than a tip. Keeping your original packaging from your batting gives you an opportunity to store your leftover batting in the same bag. This gives you the information that you need: The batting that is there, what type it is, and how you’re going to use it. And all you need to do is cross out the original size that would be posted on the bag, and put the size that you have left over. So just make sure you measure it first, put the size on the bag and you’re all set to go. I like to keep the bigger bags of the batting and that way I can put more than one in them. And I’ll list more than one on that bag. At any given time I can grab that bag and it has the measurements. And I will just keep crossing off the sizes and put the new size in there. And I reuse the same bag. I know what’s in there and I know the size. Give it a try; let me know what you think. Feel free to subscribe and join me again and let’s see what we’re sewing next time
in the sewing room. Bye for now!
