Ending on a somber note. Australian cricketer
Phillip Hughes has died days after being struck on the head during a domestic match in Sydney.
While up at bat, the 25 year-old Hughes was drilled by a bouncing, 145 kilometer-per-hour
delivery near the back of the neck, collapsing on the spot.
He died in the hospital without regaining consciousness two days later.
Family and teammates expressed their grief in statements, and tributes flooded in for
Hughes, who would′ve celebrated his 26th birthday on the 30th.
That′s wraps it up for now. Your weather′s up next. Have a good night.
