BADMINTON FOOTWORK #13 – SMASH DEFENSE FOOTWORK


For the defensive backhand, we start with a I will start with a wide split step. And push with my Right foot towards the side Pull my right foot all over my left foot It look like this Then i drag my left foot a bit towards my right foot , and Push myself up Then i am back at the middle again It look like this If the smash is not at the line, i can just take a wide split step and shoot my shoulder to the side Just like this In the defensive forehand, i will start with a split step push with my left foot Towards the right and i’m taking a sideways che-che and falling down It look like this Then i will pull my left foot a bit towards my right foot Crossing and jump to the middle Let us see again If the shot isn’t at the line – as i did in my backhand i can take a wide split step and stretch It look like this
