Baseball Sweeps Moravian on Spring Break

The Bridgewater baseball team went 3-to-1
on Spring Break, including a doubleheader sweep of Moravian that featured a one-run
victory in Game One. JT Creed’s third inning homer gave the Eagles
a 5-2 lead in the opening game. The Eagles’ clinching runs came with a pair
in the top of the sixth of the seven-inning contest. Jarrett Biesecker singled in Jeffrey Snider,
stole a base and then scored on a sac fly. Evan Gagne got the save with a runner in scoring
position. Jacob Talley smashed a three-run homer in
the second inning of Game 2, before Bridgewater absolutely blew the game open with an incredible
13-run fourth inning. That frame included a grand slam by Matthew
LaPrade and a 2-RBI double for Brett Tharpe. LaPrade even came up a second time with the
bases loaded and picked up a fifth RBI in the inning on a walk.
