There have been many rumors about Indian captain Virat Kohli and Vice-Captain Rohit Sharma. After India lost the World Cup semi-finals, there has been a lot of tension between the two. Some even say that the team is not united. It is split into two groups that are fighting. Some support Kohli while some support Sharma. The two players have been fighting with each other for a long time. Kohli and Sharma are showing people they are friends. However on the inside there is a cold war between them. A management company handled Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma for years. Sharma and Dhawan left the company but Kohli remained. This led to arguments as well. There is a lot of tension in the locker room as well. The rift is said to have started when, for the India vs West Indies match Virat Kohli was selected as the Captain but Rohit Sharma was not announced as the Vice-Captain. This created arguments between the two. There is also an ego tussle between the two. Similarly, Virat Kohli’s wife and Rohit Sharma’s wife also got invovled in the fight. Virat’s wife posted a picture on Instagram and said that, a wise man never says nothing and is always quiet. When people spread lies and gossip, the truth will make sure they are silenced. After this on Instagram, Rohit Sharma immediately unfollowed Virat Kohli’s wife. Now Virat’s wife has stopped following Rohit and his wife on Instagram. The BCCI, Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri all of them said that there is no rift between Kohli and Sharma. At a press conference Kohli said that, there is no fight between me and Rohit. People believe anything and spread such rumours. In reality there is no fight. Kohli invited the media inside the locker room to see that there is no fight and that for years there has been a strong bond among the cricketers. BCCI CEO Rahul Johri said that, he will take responsibility and solve the problem between Sharma and Kohli. News reports say that during this meeting the coach must be included. This is because he was the one who selected Kohli as the Captain. So he must be part of the meeting. The India West Indies matches start on 4th August. Rahul Johri said that, he will have a discussion with the players in the locker room and he said that he fully supports the cricketers. If any of the players have any problems, they must talk and solve it and then play the match. India and West Indies will play the T20, One Day and test matches.
