Cricket fans takeover Trafalgar square after historic England World Cup Win

 England beat New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup earlier today in what has been coined as the most dramatic match in cricket history  Three miles away from Lord’s Cricket Ground, excited Brits flocked to Trafalgar Square to celebrate the moment England were announced as World Champions  Moments after the win, elated fans started celebrating the historic win in what marks England’s first Cricket World Cup win    Donning England T-Shirts and draping Union Jack flags, cricket fans jumped for joy in a united patriotic celebration   Several over-excited Brits bared all and jumped in the Trafalgar Square fountain after watching the game in the square’s fan zone  Those watching the game from home took to congratulating the Men’s Cricket Team online, with one exclaiming: “Never witnessed such a cricket game in all my life So much drama and emotion.”    Another said: “That was a truly incredible game, high quality performance and drama all the way through… Buttler and Stokes were incredible ”“Come on England!!! That was an utterly incredible game, what a match! England you were class,” added a third   Other sporting fans reflected on the day’s biggest events which saw British Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton take home gold in the British Grand Prix      English tennis championship, Wimbledon, also came to a close as Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic battled to win the prestigious trophy  Djokovic knocked Federer back to retain his title in a gruelling five-hour, five-set victory In his on-court interview, the tennis champ gushed as he reflected on the match, paying his respects to Federer as “one of the greatest players of all-time ”
