Frequent Flyers Project #3 – Paragliding in Namibia

We are in Sossuvei… Sossusvlee… Ok, I’ll try to pronounce it correctly,
it’s Sossusvlei… So how does it work here? First you look for a dune
oriented in the right direction, then wait for the wind to die down,
since it blows pretty hard all day long. And when it dies down,
you just take off and enjoy the ride! No comment… Every time you fly here,
the challenge is calculating how much time
you need to get back to your car, and then how much time
it will take to drive to the gate. Because it closes at 18:15 sharp. You need to hurry,
but the speed limit is 60km/h So you drive fast…
but not too fast… The animals are
all around you, everywhere. You need to pay attention because
they cross the road without looking. Especially ostriches… The never look first
before crossing! If the rain doesn’t come,
you need to wait. If it doesn’t rain,
we go to the sacred fire to pray to our ancestors
and sacrifice a sheep. So we pray,
“please make it rain!” But sometimes,
it still doesn’t rain…

  5. Namibia has a very Dark side where they separate baby seals from their moms and club them to death in extreme brutal fashion. It happens on the same beaches which are endorsed for tourism by the Namibian government but they are trying to conceal it from tourists. ,,.;']

Just one question – Why did the series end with only 3 episodes?
