dailies I’m Jason day see with your dose of top cricket news this Friday. First up, there could be more trouble for India’s Hardik and Rahul, Rohit Sharma feels all his side’s world cup slots are nearly taken, details of Australia’s limited overs tour to India are confirmed and South Africa announced a 14-man squad to face Pakistan this month. India’s Hardik Pandya and kL Rahul are likely to be suspended by the BCCI over their comments on a talk show that have kicked up a storm. The duo was issued show-cause notices by the board on Wednesday. In email correspondence accessed by ESPN cricinfo, Vinod Rai of the Committee of administrators, calls their remarks on the show as ‘crass’ and suggests to co-administrator Diana Edulji to hand both a two-match suspension. The comments about women particularly by Hardik Pandya have received severe backlash after the show’s airing on Sunday. India’s vice captain Rohit Sharma spoke to the media in Sydney ahead of the upcoming ODI series and shared that India’s squad for the World Cup would be similar to the one name for the series against Australia and New Zealand. With a rider that selections would depend on form, he added that there was no guarantee of being picked and there will be some concerns about form and fitness but I don’t see there will be any drastic change in this card honestly looking at you know the slots more or less I think you know the slots are pretty much you know taken by individuals but having said that I think I still feel you know everything will depend on the form of each player I think nobody is guaranteed that flight to England as yet. Also talking about MS Dhoni spot which has been a middle-order concern for India, Rohit called the former captain a ‘guiding light’ and credited him for the recent siccesses of wristspinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. There’s more India – Australia cricket action lined up this year with the Aussies scheduled to arrive in India for two limited overs series starting February 24th. Announcing the fixtures on Thursday, the BCCI confirmed the venues for the two T20Is which would then be followed by a five-ODI series that ends 10 days before the IPL. It also means that after their ongoing Australia tour, India will end up playing 13 one -dayers before the World Cup. South Africa have announced a 14-man squad for the first two ODIs against Pakistan to be played this month. Batsman Rassie van der Dussen is in line for an ODI debut after his match-winning fifty on his T20I debut last year, while seamer Dane Paterson too earns a recall. South Africa are trying to beef up their batting for the World Cup which would be without AB de Villiers. Hashim Amla who missed the recent series in Australia returns to the squad but the Proteas will still be without JP Duminy and Lungi Ngidi who were still on their way to full fitness. 1. Hardik deserves to be suspended. But can someone tell me what Rahul has said? Because I felt that he handled himself much better than Pandya did

  2. hardik and Rahul deserved their suspension. sometime ago he was compared wit kapil…but his records are not even 25/percent of kapil. I hv.never seen a interview of cricketer like tat. great players like sachin , gavasker, kapil, dravid etc are the guiding light for present generation..current generation will be the guiding force for.future…sachin teacher was ramakant achrekar who never played international cricket but he.taught basics of cricket.to.sachin, so sachin respects him. Indian team.has won .against a weak.Australian team they should keep in mind. Wat was the result in eng?

  3. My playing XI
    1. Rohit Sharma
    2. Shikhar Dhawan
    3. Virat Kohli
    4. Ambati Rayadu
    5. Ms Dhoni
    6. Dinesh Karthik
    7. Ravindra Jadeja
    8. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar
    9. Mohammad Shami
    10. Khaleel Ahmad
    11. Kuldeep Yadav

If i am going with 5 proper bowlers then there is no place for Jadhav in my team and i would rather go with Dk with his recent form.

  4. Y people look after on comments made only on girls are they r having any special area in the veiw of the society whats wrong of hardik shareing his opinion it is completely his personal choice bcci can't suspend him

  5. Every one talk about suspend Hardik but he was hero when he smash Pakistan in England . He already apologised for his comment and 2 match suspension is fine .

  6. Life time ban kar do .
Dono madharchod aur behan chod hai saalen.
Ladkiyon ki respect nhi Kar sakte .
    Harami ki aulaadien hai ..

  7. Hardik will return to the team very soon once this bullshit propaganda get subdue. He is real quality all rounder and BCCI has no legal base to suspend him. Still now India will continue loosing ODIs against Australia and New Zealand.

  8. Their statements and attitude was horrible. We need them for the world cup if their performance is good or improves ,screw the political correctness they've paid the penalty already. Rohit sharma should stop promoting Dhoni let performance speak for the individuals

  9. Indians: Cricketers should be an inspiration. A lot of kids look up to them. So HP and KL should be banned.
What they actually mean: Cricketers are not humans. So, they should not have sexual desires, they should not express their opinions on matters not related to cricket. Sachin, Dravid, VVS and the generation before them who played for India never talked about anything apart from cricket so all Indian cricketers should be carbon-copies of that.

y'all take the idea that cricket is some religion and all cricketers are priests or something way too seriously. Do something productive people.
