High Wind Paraglider Launches Idaho, 2017 Grab the center A’s, starting with the riser underneath Take the C’s in the other hand Getting into the wind can be a challenge with rocks and weeds. Pressure on the A’s will bring the wing up. Move the C’s side to side for direction control Even higher wind? Cobra launch! Put pressure on one outter A line and the corresponding break in the other hand. No matter what, keep your wing under control. Set it down if necessary. And, always double check your lines before launching! If you start to run too fast, your wing will pick you up and set you down. Keep even, increasing pressure on your wing to move forward. Practice a ton… and once in a while, you’ll be able to make it work perfectly… maybe.
