  1. Damn robbie maybe u can take a few dollars out of that 275million dollar contract to improve the living conditions of the people of San Pedro or a school or a better camp or field or sumn.

  2. Por primera vez se ve al padre de la superestrella ROBINSON CANO SONRIENDO PARA MI LA RAZÓN ES QUE ESTÁ EN SU PAÍS CON LO QUE QUIERE DE VERDAD ESTADOS UNIDOS ES MUNDO DE PLÁSTICO SOCIALMENTE HABLANDO😃😃😃😃😃😃

  3. Funny that in the Dominican league, the worst baseball team, son “las estrellas orientales” and they play in San Pedro

  4. All you haters need to work as hard as this kid….in your job or on the field doesn't matter. He is building the connectors and small muscles in his arm and relying on sound balance and mechanics rather than muscle to keep up with the big kids. Many of thew big boys you see in the Little league world series you wont see in high school when the little guys catch up in height and weight. I'm not hating on bigger kids, go get yours guys remember mechanics and heart will beat strength and sloppy mechanics..

  6. I had a dream of becoming a major league player , but in my family no one play basseball and at same time they didn't support me so it was tough for me , I always was talking about signing a contract for 700,000 but that was it , it was just a dream, I just had my first kid and I'm gonna support him so maybe he can reach those dreams

  7. damn that was actually really depressing to watch. Its almost like someone who works really hard at scratching off lottery tickets. It doesnt matter how hard you work, the odds are astronomically stacked against you. They should really focus on bettering their quality of life as a community.

  8. Robinson Cano is a disgrace if he was my son and I found out about the steroids I would slap him across the face. He was my hero and he let all of his fans down this man should not be allowed to play oh! Wait yeah the Mets just signed him for a 10 year $228 million dollar deal what the fuck is wrong with baseball.

  9. Are we going to just ignore the fact that Jose Cano is almost 60 and looks like he deadlifts Fiats? He's in great shape, a great example for those young men.

  10. Thanks for sharing.  This video is very "eye opening" to see what  the youth of so many countries go  through to play baseball. The county where i live in Kentucky, USA,  closed down Little League bc we didn't have enough kids/coaches to participate in the program, its very nice to see that there are still people out there with the love and passion of this sport that still makes it as great as it ever was.  I hope the kids are not just in it for the money but also bc of the enjoyment that baseball brings to so many people.   It has been in my blood since birth but God had other plans.

  11. San pedro still produces alot of ballplayers, but it now has strong competition from small towns all over the DR.Including the capital city of Santo Domingo and the second biggest city of Santiago. There is not one province or region that does not produce ML players in the DR.Even the Cibao region has gotten into the act in large numbers. The greatest of them all,is Juan Marichal.First Dominican to enter the hall of fame. From the northern coast province of Montecristi. And Bartolo colon. From my mother's province of Puerto plata.Dominican ball players, tend to give back and go back to the province that they are from, and invest time and money into their respective home towns.Bartolo colon himself built a ballpark in Puertoplata, which offcourse is named after him.I could go on and on and on.That said, the majority do come from the southwestern provinces with relatively close proximity to the capital city of Santo Domingo like sanpedro de macoris.Since this is where most of the Dominican population resides.

  12. did Isidro make it? There is a kid listed as Neyfy Garcia that is the same age and weight from the DR that signed a 600k contract that year but nothing on Isidro. Is Neyfy his real first name?

  13. The hunger and pure will to create a better living for yourself and your family, following the love of baseball creates these amazing players from this island. Dominicans stand up!

  14. WAIT WHAT?!? 😰😰😰 BUT MY MOM BOUGHT ME THE NEW LeKobe Jordan 15s AND I HAVE ALL MATCHING TRAINING OUTFITS I EVEN WEAR ONE OF THOSE COOL MASKS WHILE I WORK OUT AND ITS FROM SUPREME… SO YAAA LOL IM KINDA UP NEXT FUCK THIS KID

  16. I love these spanish cuban dominican baseball videos keep em up vice✌✌👌👌👌🤘🤘🤘🖒🖒🖒🖒👏👏👏👏😁😁😁😁😀😀😀😉😉😉😃😃

  17. DR produces great baseball talent , but so does Southern California…as a matter of fact, 50% of all major league players come out of the DR and the greater Los Angeles area…

  18. Tienen que poner a practicar a los jugadores dos veces a la semana recogiendo la basura a los alrededores de San Pedro.,

  19. 1:48 i feel so bad that the kid thinks that the only reason his family loves him is that he plays baseball.

  20. Latin blacks are so talented in baseball its just natural for them,
i play on a city team with a Venezuelan black guy he hasnt played in years and tears it up hitting & on the field fyi im latin also lol

  21. Dom Rep is the house of baseball. in America, you play little league and high school, on top regional teams, then go to college and university, then maybe minor leagues. You always have the best equipment, schooling, coaches, and fields. In Dom, the kids go out and play baseball all day every day all year round on crapy fields with crapy equipment and 20-year-old balls. These kids love it more because it is all they have. Also, I like how Cano just drives onto the field in his SUV, like, ya he can do that, he's Cano lol. But that's from respect.

  22. La rata mas grande del la temporada 2019..oh escusenme k no esta usando esteroide…otro dominicano rata..como sammy….

  23. Robinson Canos brother is a prospect for the Mariners. What a coincidence….that's the team Robinson is on 🤣😂

  24. I'm not from San Pedro but as a kid I played there so many times. Some of the fields they showed there I've played there. And it just made me feel so proud of DR 🇩🇴🇩🇴

  25. if everyone want's to be a baseball player who the fuck will be the doctors and engineers? case and point why the country is a shit hole

  26. Baseball is in my blood my father played for NYU and my grand father, and great grandfather played cricket my dads side of my family is from Pakistan and my mom’s father played baseball so I’m kinda lucky lmao

  27. The only person you owe anything to in this life is yourself, so quit being a loyal but dumb muthafucka and by a house in the palisades before someone shoots your ass, like big papi.

  28. There´s no other future for these young men…They give up schooling, if they don´t make it there bumming around penniless in the streets…

  29. Those that have less will always be more hungry than someone that already has great things. That why the greatest talents in sports come from the streets.

  30. Wow!!!! Is nice to see that Jesus Frias is still doing the same thing he was doing back in 2001 when I used to be part of his league as a kid!!! He trained me back in 2001 when I was just a kid then I came to the US in 2003 at the age of 13, now I'm 31 and never came back to DR or saw this field again until now on this video!! Wow this video brought me back to my childhood memories.. Amazing!!
