Since I was a little kid all my heroes were those who could fly. Superman was the one I always had in mind and I dreamt about flying between skyscrapers at high speeds. I was 14 years old I think when he showed me the paraglide and I did a three second fly. It was that moment where I realized that it was marvelous, and since then I’ve been paragliding. The truth is that I’ve known about Roldanillo for 5 or 6 years because of the high-level competitions that it has. I’m very surprised because even when it’s cloudy, the thermals are every where and the birds are spinning and going up. It is one of the best places in the world because here we have wind, we have mountains, we have sun and that is the good thing. Here you can paraglide almost every day. So today for example I was on the road and told myself, “Well, what do I do? What should I start with? What should I do?” And I said to myself, “Look, you start with a helicopter, which is what you do first and then the other things will come.” I knew I wanted to keep the last high for a long infinity so the spectators could watch it closely. But everything comes out naturally. You start performing one trick, then comes another, and then another, it is like dancing with a girl.
