World Cup 2019: India vs Australia

Yesterday on 9th June 2019 in London at the Oval India played against Australia for the World Cup. India won the match and Australia lost. Australia has won the World Cup five times. India have now defeated Australia. They needed 36 runs to win but they lost. India was a strong team. At India vs Australia match, India won the toss. Captain Virat Kohli chose to bat. They smashed a high score of 352-5. Shikhar Dhawan scored 117 runs. In the match against South Africa, Virat Kohli got out and scored only 18 runs. This time he scored 82 runs. While Australia were bowling Hardik Pandya came in towards the last over and scored 48 runs. When it was Australia’s turn to bat, they found it very hard to chase India’s score. They tried their best to meet the score but it was very difficult. In the 49.5 over, Australia was all out at 316 runs. India had a strong score. This is because of excellent bowlers from India like Bhuveneshwar Kumar who took 3-50. and Jasprit Bumrah who took 3-61 Similarly, in the match against South Africa they bowled very well and kept the score low. Virat Kohli said that his teammates were very strong players and bowled well too. If you remember, in February and March in the Australia vs India series Australia beat India in all the matches. Now India defeated Australia for which they are very happy. Now on 13th June, India will play against New Zealand. The most important match will be the Pakistan vs India match on 16th June. India is now third on the points table. In the New Zealand vs India practise match held before the World Cup, New Zealand had won and India had lost. Now let’s see what happens.
